GritTec laboratory updates noise cancellation technology for single-microphone solution.


Noise cancellation technology of single-microphone solution is used for reducing the external hindrances and background noises in speech signal.

General advantages of new noise cancellation technology in comparison with previous version:
  • High quality of speech enhancement under low level speech distortion;
  • Optimization of memory and processor resources is stronger. It makes using noise cancellation technology imperceptible in mode of real time, for example, in Call service centers.
GritTec laboratory plans to present a platform independent fixed-point code and to optimize it in some types of DSP platforms. In particular it is planned to do an optimization of code under processors of the company Texas Instruments.

  • Separation as cleaned speech signal, so and background noise;
  • Three modes adaptation to background noises;
  • Controlled level of noise suppression in speech, including broadband color noises up to 60 dB;
  • Possibility of using a graphic equalizer for removing the stationary hindrances;
  • Easy integration with target applications.

Signal requirement
  • Signal format: 16-bits linear;
  • 6 kHz, ..., 48 kHz sampling rate.

Availability
  • DLL libraries for MS Windows;
  • PC demo for MS Windows is available on request;
  • Portability to any DSP, ARM or RISC platform.
